Mecca all began from the Islam prophet Mohammad witch he was born in Medina and he traveled to mecca to pray and worship Allah. Other toughed it was a good thing so they all join him in a new travel to worship Allah that all Muslims have to take during their lifetime called hajj. The big square thing in he middle of mecca is called the Kaaba.
